Today we got to go to the Temple! (3/31)

Wow 150 pizzas!!! thats a ton! I love pizza though. Let me think about the last time i ate pizza??? Last night lol. ill have to send you guys some pictures!! it was way good but the after effect wasnt so great. i woke up during the night with the runs!!! im not the old jimmy that could just play video games and eat pizza and drink mountain dew all night and wake up the next day fine. here i eat like 3 peices of pizza sleep and i pay the price the next day. but im alright now! Today we got to go to the Temple! it was amazing of course and i took some pictures with my comp and of the temple!. So i dont feel like making a well flowed email so were ganna get choppy and start jumping around.. so sweet mom you got a new calling as Young Womans councelor!!! thats got to be a great calling. but you gotta make it sweet and do some tight activities!!! (including some kind of missionary work !) but wow so that sucks about matt that he had some probloms in the MTC but he´ll get better. i loved the MTC in provo. loved it more than the CTM in São Paulo, which i heard now is worse. the CTM in São Paulo got like stripped of a lot of stuff. less food and like other crap. i cant remember but chris will still love it there. So what Temple is chris ganna go to? and a garden sounds sweet. what are you guys ganna plant in it? Is it ganna be way in the back? and ya its starting to cool down here! its getting better and its ganna start raining a lot here soon! so about this rain lol......... lol...... uhh..... so i remember you guys talking about when i got 1 year on the mission i could get new shoes right. well i hit one year and i am just riding these out. these shoes i have now are still in alright shape. but the inside back is ripped so startes to rip socks and since these shoes were made to breath water gets in way way easy. but whenever you guys can :) i could use some new shoes. water proof if possible. But so thats way cool that chris has started on his Rosetta stone it will help him about a good bit in the CTM. and i cant wait to hear about the surprise that justin has for me lol.!! mothers day is getting closer!. but my week was great and im still working hard!. cant wait till next week to talk about conference!! im way stoked for conference!!. but have a great week. OK, So ya its cool if your emails get shorter to me. i understand new son on a mission. but my emails are ganna come the same size. So that's pretty funny you and Sis Snowden are friends on facebook. and wow its so great to have an American comp and what can i say about speaking English when were alone. were Americans! but ya hes got 4 months until he goes home. so this week was pretty sweet. last p-day when we went to work at night we taught a 16 year old girl and her member boyfriend was there and we taught a first lesson and at the end when my comp went to leave the Book of Mormon she was like ya i have this book and were like have you read a part or 2 and shes like ya i have read it all! and shes like i know its true!. we were just like uhh uhh.... with our mouths open. we marked her baptism date for the 3rd! it was amazing. and I'm way excited for general conference it will be great!. oh and i got the package! it was amazing!!! love the stuff!! and the camera is way tight! just you guys only put 3 pics on it?? could have had like 200. but all is well. so ya Chris has been studying Portuguese huh? that's tight. and its cool that he is making friends too. i remember elder Mitchell tried to talk to me before the mission. i was like i did´nt wanna talk to anyone. but its cool. so ya i have heard that Belem is a totally different mission that here in Curitiba! like I'm in an advanced city but Chris will go like out in the boonies. like Brazil...Brazil with monkeys and stuff! lol. so its hard to say what you gave me that he doesn't need or he will need. i heard it never gets cold there so i don't think he will need a jacket but i dunno and i heard that it rains a good bit. like every single day!. bug repellent would probably be good. sunscreen is a definite. i heard that in Belem they have like a more Indian culture. GOOD LUCK CHRIS!! lol. but he´ll do fine. just pack what they say and get him some good socks!. he will drink a ton of water but the water there i heard isn't drinkable. so he needs to DRINK MINERAL WATER!!!! or WORMS!!!! lol. an mp3 player is good with good music but ipod no because they don't have itunes. but stuff i wish i would have brought i dunno I've been in Brazil so long i just got used to living without everything!. but ya so i can get that letter to Elder Dos Santos still.!. but ya so last week went pretty well. elder Snowden plays some guitar too and has an acoustic so we have been playing togetherl. you should get some videos. But that was my week. love ya guys have a great other week. and mothers day is almost here! i can talk to ya guys!!

My weekly email! 3/17

So wow chris will go to brazil!!!! thats crazy! but like when i read that i was like freaking out like whatt!!!! so when we get home we can speak portuguese together and stuff. but in belem they speak with a totally different accent. will be funny talking behind the back of a ton of people! but man its so hot there hes ganna die. so ya i complain about it being hot here but i cant even imagine living there. but his mission is ganna be way tight. so i heard in belem that like 2 or 3 o clock it will just rain for like one hour. way funny. there was a guy in my group who went to belem. so remember this name chris. his name is ELDER POND and his sister is in my mission. i was in the CTM with them 2 it was cool. but wow june 23 good luck to ya man. and learn the portuguese.
So what happened this week. we are teaching some tight people. references from members! and there families too! and we are teaching this one dude and he is going great too. there will be some baptisms soon! oh ya so tranfers were today and i stayed but my comp left!. my new companion is...... Elder Snowden! hes from St. George hes got like 1 year and 8 months on the mission! hes way cool too. and its been forever since i had an american comp! way crazy! but we are ganna baptize a ton this transfer i just know it!. but im still waiting for my camera and i jsut hope that no brasillian janked it in the mail!. but i dont have much time for this email theres some other importants stuff to do! love ya guys and have a great week!!!!! oh and where did Reo go???

So ya way cool that chris has his call in and is waiting! im guessing mexico lololololol speaking spanish! but thats just my guess. but thats funny that you threw the chicken in the oven and it got all burnt and dried out and stuff lol. burnt ramen!. but it will be weird i wont see chris for another 2 years! and youll have 2 kids on a mission now but soon soon im already comming home!. My trainer sent me an email so heres a shout out to him if he reads my blog. HUBER MEU PÃE!!!!! FICA COM PAZ CARA! lol. but ya this week went well. but not much happened just taught some peeps but not alot of people are progressing :(. transfers are next week already and its looking like im going. like 12 americans are getting here! Hope to train! that would be amazing!!. we played basketball again today and there was like 6 more kids there. i showed them how to really play. but like everyone was trying to play streetball??? i just do like dad taught me and follow the body lol. no one gets passed lol. brasillians...... lol. but i dont have like nothing to say for this week lol. we had zone conference and it was pretty good. learned some stuff. oh our missionary doctor was there and i got to talk to him about my health. he told me to buy 2 medicines to de-worm me!!! lol. that will be tight lol. so maybe i got worms!. its all part of the mission!. but ya this was my week mom. until next week to learn about chris´s mission call! i love ya guys!

hey are you from the south part of brazil?

Yes!!! im so ready for my package!. ill be waiting now!. ok so about my stomach i waited so long to go to the doctor that after i went and did my exams i think i got better. but i havent done the sonogram yet. that will be next thursday!. well see if i have a baby!!!. boy or girl.... ill let you guys guess!! jk lol. ok but ya im feeling better. for lunch one sister made tacos and i just went nuts. i ate like 10 - 12 tacos!!. oh and i made cookies yesterday and they were legit!! and it was from scratch.. ya im amazing but anyway my heath is getting better.

we have started waking up at 6:00 in the morning to run! me and my comp and one of the secretaries. its great to start the day off by running and wow the weather changed like way fast. one day it just got cold!. i love the cold. but ya so we run in the morning for like 40 min some times we play a little basketball after. we played basketball today. me and my comp whos like as tall as chris but black, and an american here from boston. they play good too. so it was way intense! but i still got it. but wow my legs are so white lol compared to my arms. ok but after rambling on for so long.... my health is good now or alot better and my missionary work is good. though last week was horrible i didnt talk with anyone on the street i just got lazy after that one day of doing nothing but this week we have started off good!


But im way excited for the package i will be waiting for it now. oh and mom when you send the girlscout cookies it would be way cool if you sent me an album of pictures like of the family and stuff. and like the front of the house and stuff ya know!. and i will give sister christinas stuff to here!. so ya right now its 3:37 my time. ya cuz the time moved again. all i know is no one told us until the last day and we ended up turning the clock the other way lol. so we got to church 2 hours early!!! and woke up way way early!. Life is great!

So Chris is getting better at piano huh? thats way tight. band when we get back?! ya. i can read music a lot faster now! Ive learned so much more about music now that im in the choir. i understand everything in the hymnbooks now. and whats way cool to practice my tenor parts i just get my acoustic here and i can look at the music and play it!. i dont even have to convert it to tabs. i can play the bass and the melody part too!. together. with my fingers. but ya i think if i had access to a piano i could play some hymns!. just not like way fast.

But, chris wants to go to Canada. I wanted to go there too. it was Canada or japan! i would love to go to japan!. but brazil is way good. and the language has already been dominated. i can already be catagorized as a brasilian. people are like hey are you from the south part of brazil where theres blonde hair blue eyed brasillians im like ya. born and raised.

oh ya so i heard about the earthquake!!! sounded nuts. i even saw some videos when i was in a restaurant. i saw the news on TV! crazy cuz daniel is there and i was like whoa wonder how he is. but his mom said hes doing good. and i heard theres a tsunami hitting its way over there too. but brazil is way smooth. they got nothing here. but no i couldnt feel the earthquake! its a long ways away from me chile. i believe paraguay is in between. but that was my week. thanks for everything mom! hope you guys have a great week!
